1.24.16 – Third Sunday in Ordinary Time

Today will be our third week in the Semaphore Unit! Also, we’re so close to Tet! Aaaaaah!

But maybe we’re actually currently feeling like this:

In any case. Semaphore! Remember the Curriculum Minimum Standards for AN:

  • 8:00 – sinh hoạt begins with morning prayer! – Tr. B
    • announcements
      • Tet is coming up and TNDS will have two weeks off for Tet: Feb 7 and Feb 14 (so we have both Dem Giao Thua and the day after the show/festival off)
      • dance kids should still meet right after Mass in the hallway in front of the classrooms as usual, but they should know that
  • 8:10 – CM: Semaphore (remember, kids don’t get to do semaphore; they just decipher it)
    • Rafael: A-N – Tr. NH
      • they learned through J last week, but don’t go past N, keep reviewing with words
    • Gabriel: A-N – Tr. J
    • Micae: O-U – Tr. BH
    • And since this is late again, Lesson Plans in by Friday night, please
  • 8:30 – Activity because I changed the year-long schedule last-minute
    • I was thinking of doing Rocket Prayers or a “Switch Sides If” Quiz activity to review basics of things we’ve learned over the year (tape a line on the floor and it becomes a “getting to know you game” for a large group of people, or an active quiz game: “Switch sides if x is true”)
    • preferences, anyone?
  • 9:00 – Bathroom Break!
  • 9:10 – Games/Songs/Bible Passage
  • 9:40 – wrap up – Tr. B
  • 9:50 – seated (and quiet) and ready for Mass!

HT note: Umm. Nothing from me. Check your emails from Tr. Q, haha~
