Halloween is coming up this week, and I want to remind các em that in the midst of all the ghouls, costumes, and candy that Halloween is “All Hallows’ Eve,” in reference to the hallowed ones in heaven whom we celebrate the next day. We won’t go too deep into theology for Halloween since we’ll be doing a little activity on All Saints’ Day next week, but a sweet reminder about our faith during Halloween is good, I think. And fun~ Also, these clever costume ideas needed to be shared somehow!

This feast celebrates all the unknown saints who are now in Heaven. Sanctity is within everyone’s reach; through the Communion of Saints each part of the Mystical Body of Christ helps every other to grow in holiness.
